Jennifer Goodman Kaplan is an accomplished Human Resources executive with a twenty-five year track record providing multi-disciplined strategic Human Resources and business management to a variety of companies and industries. She joined Matteson Partners as a Partner in 2010 and her expertise lies in sourcing, interviewing, assessing, and placing top talent within organizations.
Jennifer has worked at global leading small, medium and large companies including Fortune 100 companies. These companies include: GTE (Verizon), Pillsbury, Marriott, and high tech start-ups including ADS Corporation (now NASD: IDX) and Time Domain Corporation.
Jennifer’s areas of experience include: translating the vision of the organization into business practices; working with the Board and senior leadership team and providing a framework within which the business culture and practices develop; applying the economic drivers of the business into a global Human Resources program which includes organizational needs assessment; recruitment and retention; developing competitive compensation and welfare programs; employee relations, and policy and procedure development.
Jennifer most recently served as Vice President of Time Domain Corporation, a private equity-backed high technology company where she managed Human Resources, Marketing, and Corporate Communications. Prior to Time Domain, Jennifer was Director of Human Resources for ADS Corporation, a privately owned clean tech environmental management company, where she oversaw a 600-employee workforce with 35 offices across the US, Australia and Europe. While living in Australia, Jennifer was accountable for relocating 25 expatriates from the US and hiring 75 local staff members in less than 6 weeks. In addition to her responsibilities in the Human Resources, she was instrumental during the sale of ADS by its founders to a large global company both in pre and post-acquisition phase.
Jennifer began her career in GTE’s (now Verizon) Management Development Program where she was chosen to be one of twelve college recruits nationwide to rotate through 3 of GTE’s subsidiaries and provide HR services to geographically diverse business units.
Jennifer graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from University of Arizona and has gained certification and training in: Interview Skills Training, AA/EEO compliance, 360* Feedback mechanisms; Ethical leadership, Total Quality Management, to name a few.
