Katy McDonald joined Matteson Partners in 2007 and is the Partner, Client Services.
McDonald manages all client services for the firm, acts as the direct contact for all client inquires, directs the marketing department, and runs all technology and operations for Matteson Partners. She was previously an Associate Partner where she focused her efforts in candidate development, industry research, and Executive Search assignments.
McDonald's professional background includes expertise in marketing, sales, public relations as well as experience in organizational techniques, graphic design, extensive writing and editing experience.
Her experience also includes fundraising for numerous Atlanta-based charities such as the Red Cross, Blaze Sports Clubs of America, Children's Miracle Network, and Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. She has also completed three trips to Ensenada, Mexico to volunteer at an orphanage for abused and neglected children.
McDonald graduated from the University of Georgia where she majored in Journalism at the prestigious Grady College. She was an active member of several student organizations, including leadership positions within her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha.
