We are pleased to announce the appointment of Roger Bledsoe as a Landscape Architect at Eberly & Associates.
Roger is a graduate of the Master of Landscape Architecture program at the University of Georgia. Roger was a DEVELOP Project Team Participant for NASA where he participated as a researcher on a team that developed a Land-Use Conflict Identification Strategy (LUCIS) model for solar farms in Georgia. He conducted land use/land cover analysis of Landsat imagery, and prepared and inputted solar farm development criteria and conservation criteria into a LUCIS model.
Additionally, Roger participated as a researcher on a team developing a model to predict the future health of two mangrove patches in eastern India. He conducted remote sensing analyses of satellite imagery (Sentinel and MODIS) for biophysical health parameters (LAI, CHL, GPP). For both projects, he prepared public communication tools such as posters, presentations, graphics, and YouTube videos.
