Suwanee, GA - Our client is seeking a qualified Building Official to supplement their clients current municipal services staff. This position is needed to address a continuously growing workload and an outlook for several large scale multi-year projects. The Building Official position is responsible for the residential and commercial construction sites for compliance with the adopted building, erosion control and zoning codes.
Division Manager/Principal Engineer Building Technology
St Paul, MN - Plan, direct, and control a technical enterprise following the company’s plan. Assume responsibility for technical capability and growth of the Building Technology Division. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships resulting in significant on-going work. Provide technical expertise in performing and directing special engineering projects requiring advanced knowledge in the evaluation and performance of structures, building systems and/or materials.
The services provided within the Division are performed to the standards of the engineering industry, including ASTM, ICC, ACI and AISC as well as state laws governing professional services. All services will be performed in accordance with Company's Quality Assurance Program. The division manager/principal engineer will have an instrumental position in developing the expertise and efficiency of the division. The objective is to provide quality services at a fair fee, while controlling costs to provide plan margin.
Atlanta, GA - Our client is seeking a Project Director. The successful candidate will be a hands-on problem solver, with a common sense approach to dealing with the business of development/construction, can anticipate needed actions, and plan ahead for the ongoing construction process. The individual will be an experienced manager who is coachable and flexible in approach and process. The candidate will have a thorough understanding from both the owner's, and builder's perspective, and be experienced in the working process of construction to include regulatory agencies, consultants, attorneys, etc. The successful candidate will be a strong person, willing to take charge with seasoned leadership skills. Not afraid or bashful to state opinions or ideas with colleagues, superiors, or project team.
Candidate must be hard working, with an entrepreneurial spirit, who takes ownership of the process, cares about the outcome and views the start of the project with the operation of the facility in mind. Understands the complex issues, especially of hotel projects, and will break them down in to sequential pieces which are manageable. Good eye for design and insistent on high quality construction standards.
The candidate is a team player and team leader. Can coach the process and keep all participants working together to fulfill the mission to complete a project which meets Woodbine standards.
